Omletina Kyckling
OOOhhh you lucky thing! Perhaps we should organise an Omlet meeting to Paris? Our local station takes us straight down to St Pancras and the Eurotunnel in less than an hour!

Seagazer
Hope you are having a lovely time. I love Paris too. We went for OH's 40th birthday and we did Moulin Rouge and a young man on the next table was there with his family for his 18th birthday. I think he enjoyed it
Gamebird
I love Paris. We spent our honeymoon there. One of my favourite places is the Muse d'Orsay - full of wonderful paintings from every century. And all that lovely French food and wine. What did you get up to Fred? Egluntyne
Go and see Mona at the Louvre, I still cant decide if shes smiling or not..... I believe she had a gob full of rotten teeth, hence the enigmatic smile.
Seagazer
I was so disappointed when I saw Mona Lisa, hubby on the other hand was enthralled and thought it was brilliant. DD saw it last week on her 21st birthday and she also was disappointed, after all the hype about it. Musee D'Orsay was lovely although the stairs and walkways frightened the living daylights out of me
Helly Welly
OH took me to Paris for my 30th. Being at the top of the Eiffel tower made me cry, i'd wanted to go there since childhood. I also loved the Pere Lachaise (sp?) cemetary and simply the architecture of the whole city. We're planning to take DD there in a couple of years. I could barely see the Mona Lisa due to the crowds. I never realised she was so tiny! I thought all the Egyptian relics in the Louvre were amazing though.

About the size of a postage stamp compared to what I anticiapated.
