Jen&Rog
Only last week I was boasting to my fellow pregnant colleague about how well I'm feeling... and ever since I've felt absolutely terrible! Dizzy, queezy, tired, freezing cold all the time, can't face eating anything. I've had to take the day off work after being sent home yesterday looking like I was about to pass out. And only one person at work knows why I'm looking so rough... (although no doubt tongues are wagging). When will this end???!!!! OH is also fed up of looking at my green face... and not being cooked dinner anymore!!
Yorkshire Pudding
Poor you, it's miserable isn't it. Ginger always helped me - either ginger biscuits or crystallised ginger bits. It helped with the nausea and then I could eat which helped with the rest. Most people find it passes after about 12 to 14 weeks, then you feel wonderful. As for OH, he can think of this as practice for when the bump lands, because you certainly won't be cooking his dinner then either!
Egluntyne
I can sympathise. Plenty of rest and gingernut biscuits. I found Seabands quite helpful.
Omletina Kyckling
You poor thing! I can't comment on morning sickness, as I've never had children, but I do suffer quite bad nausea with my medication. I agree with Yorkshire Pudding about ginger helping. I keep Nairns Oat biscuits with Ginger in stock all the time and find that if I nibble on those, they seem to help - the oats + ginger have a calming effect. Hope it passes soon! bronze
You have my sympathy. I was alsleep before the end of little dorrit last night. Just keep thinking... there will be a baby at the end of all this.
Seagazer
It is absolutely awful and you have my full sympathy. You will get better, it will pass. Keep hold of that thought. Sorry to having nothing else constructive but nothing much worked for me.

Clur
Extra strong mints every time I felt sick, saw me through both my pregnancies! Congratulations and hope you feel better soon!
pistachio
Congratulations and comiserations It's incredibly un PC but I found that the only thing that even vaguely touched my sickness was Coca Cola. I was still being sick at 6 months with my first son and had to be taken to hospital at about 3 months because I was faint and exhausted after being sick all day. Nothing made a blind bit of difference but coca cola gave me a few minutes respite now and again when desperate. Looking back i think it was the tablets that they gave me for my iron levels - they had folic acid in which I've since discovered makes me sick every time. Wierd hey? But with my other children I stopped being sick at 3 months and Coca cola was the only thing that made any difference (although not loads) again. Worth a try - but not exactly something you'd want all the time

Karen & co.
Sorry not to be able to offer any suggestions I could never find any thing to make it easier only the knowledge that eventually it will pass, and that travel bands are worth a try, but I find ginger makes me feel worse Congratulations on the soon to be new arrival Karen x
Jen&Rog
Sounds like many of you have had far worse experiences than me (not wanting to tempt fate of course...). I'm feeling almost human today and have stocked up on crystallised ginger, root ginger, ginger biscuits and ginger tea. The only thing I fancy eating is raisons.. better than nothing I suppose! sarah-w
ooo I remember that feeling well Ready salted crisps helped me, and rich tea fingers, try and nibble something constantly, don't get too hungry. It WILL pass (eventually )
Looney
I didn't get really bad sickness, never actually vomited, just felt like I was living on a small boat in rough water for a while I drank a lot of ginger beer and also found that banana milk helped which is odd as it is quite possibly one of the most sickly drinks around! One night I must have been feeling sick as I dreamt that I'd been drinking fabric conditioner Still turns my stomach just thinking about it Fingers crossed you are over the worst...oh, and congratulations!!!
