Ain't Nobody Here
Guns 'n Roses new album , Egluntine . Like G 'n R but haven't heard it yet. OH will no doubt be getting it!
chelsea
OH is a big G & R fan, was talking about this last night. Apparently this album has cost millions to produce I dont mind some of their stuff and Axle Rose was mighty fine (back in those days mind you!) Hen Huggers R Us
Guns 'n Roses new album , Egluntine . Like G 'n R but haven't heard it yet. OH will no doubt be getting it! Go for it! Definately worth getting, needs a couple of listens though, but very different to what they have done in the past. Much more melodic and orchestral... Egluntyne
I thought GN'R was something to do with Gingernut Rangers. No wonder I didn't get it.

Redwing
I have no idea what this is about. Me either! I was thinking I that a radical change in Chinese politics had completely passed me by!
Scramble
I thought GN'R was something to do with Gingernut Rangers. No wonder I didn't get it. I thought that too........ I thought it was some horrible new scheme that chinese people are starting to eat them or something......not that they don't already eat chicken but...where am I going with this? Guns and Roses, okay. x
bluekarin
He's still got a very fine voice at 47, I believe. He's 47!!!! I was really into them when I was about 17/18 and I am sure he was only a bit older than me then (just Googled Axles Roses age and he was born in 1962 so you are quite right!). I quite like the single they have brought out, but I heard another track on Zane Lowes show last night and wasn't really impressed. I kinda feel sorry for them really. They took so long and spent so much money on this album that its got such high expectations that it can't really live up to.

Snowy
My son says don't expect it to sound like the original GN'R - there are only 2 of the original band members left, and this is a very different sound. Needs a couple of listens but is very good. Personally I've only listened to the first few tracks so far - sounds OK, I think it could grow on me Edited to add he actually says it is 'pretty damn amazing' Got to get it right
Guest
DH says it's been slammed by the critics but I don't hold much sway with critics. Is Slash on the new album? I'm in the process of reading his autobiog, just up to the bit where they play their first gig in Seattle. It's quite interesting so far. It's ghost written and I think it slightly loses something in the translation, it comes across as a little too eloquent for a drug addled rock star, if you know what I mean but then again I've never heard Slash talking so I wouldn't know if he was erudite and eloquent or not
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I thought GN'R was something to do with Gingernut Rangers. No wonder I didn't get it. I love that Egluntine. Maybe we should refer to rock bands as Plymouth Rock bands, to keep up the chicken-ness. Living with a metalhead OH, I am partial to the odd stadium anthem but this album is not a patch on old-skool . Is Bucks Fizz still Bucks Fizz without Cheryl, Jay and Mike? No, it's Bobby with a tribute band. Is without Slash, Izzy and Duff still ? No, it's Axl with a budget the size of a small country's GDP and too many yes men around him. I am afraid to say it but Axl has become to rock what Mariah Carey is to RnB. A loopy musically past-it diva. With very silly braided hair (Axl, not Mariah. Oddly ). *Goes off to watch November Rain on youtube* - ah Slash, with your mad top hat, and your big long guitar solo outside that little church in the desert, and your fag hanging out of your mouth at all times. Those were the days! EDIT: I've just realised that typing G.N.R but without dots puts a gingernut ranger emoticon in place of an abbreviated band name! Doh! But I kinda like it... Guest
by all accounts (i.e. Slash's autobiog) Axl seems to have always been a loopy diva!

Cinnamon
by all accounts (i.e. Slash's autobiog) Axl seems to have always been a loopy diva! He is,indeed, a very strange man And his plastic surgery over the recent years has left him looking a bit strange too. Slash, who is a rock God as far as I am concerned,is not on the new album.
