Guest Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 OK now I'm back - thanks for all the good wishes, Louise - I forgot you were in the borders - I would have loved to come and see your cats, thanks L-J for the picture (resisting the obvious naughty joke) - I can see your cat... Dumfries and Galloway was lovely - we had a great time - but more importantly for this Forum.. Mrs Miggins and Spot had a whale of a time at Mel's - they didn't want to come home - we had to drag them into the car... they have a great set-up, they are lovely people. If you have no backup plan and you are anywhere near Jn 18 of the M1 - then I would recommend them highly.. also they have about 500 chickens of their own (well - it looked that way!) and they back onto a pig farm which masks the chicken smell nicely! it's nice to be back, Phil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe you could squeeze yourself into the Eglu too next time you need to get away from it all? I'm off work tomorrow and friday so as it'll be sermon writing day we'd all like lots of posts to make up for your absence! Welcome Home! actually I am just beginning a three-month sabbatical - so no more sermons to write until December!!
