The Dogmother
That's a lot Laura. I had a conversation about this with my hairdresser once; people who can do 'hair up' can charge a lot, there aren't many people who can or want to do it. They make a fortune for weddings and balls. I'm obviously in the wrong job
Laura007
i know, same here!! i need to start retraining immediatley. i really dont know how they can justify all the cash for a few bobby pins and a bit of hairspray. outragous. if only i could make a neat job of it myself! The Dogmother
I can do french plaits because I used to have very long hair, but it takes me ages to get them looking right
Paola
Its a real licence to print money. I think I might retrain as a plasterer Sorry Laura that is not much help to you
clare*
I still can't get over my Toni & Guy experience a couple of weeks ago Every time I check the credit card statement online, there it is! £
The Dogmother
My plasterer can afford fancy foreign holidays, I can't; there's something wrong there
Cate in NZ
My daughter loves her hair in french plaits, and because she does a lot of dancing she has the ideal style for that.... long all over, no fringe, no shorter bits (to be easily s"Ooops, word censored!"ed back off the face), and I have tried time and again to french plait it...... whatever I do it looks dreaful. I have zero ability at french plaiting I wish I could do it though
Mrs Frugal
I wish mine was long enough! I've only been growing it from VERY short since November and it's barely s"Ooops, word censored!"able into a pony tail at the moment but I would baulk at paying that much to just get it put up! That's daylight robbery! I had it washed and cut last week for £19 and it took 15 minutes! How long does it take to do a french plait ? Paola
My dad was the best at doing plaits when I was a kid. My mum was hopeless *whispering as OH is sitting near me!* I used to go out with a guy who worked at the palace backing horses and he was great doing french plaits I cannot do them for toffee My girls have to settle for normal plaits
