I got a huge £8 fresh chicken, £5.99 wine, pot dauphinoise & profiteroles - normally £19.74 but paid £10. Fab offer - but I suppose it depends on demand and what stock your local branch has. I have frozen the chicken and profiteroles and am eating the roasted veggies and drinking the winde for my supper. Shame our Simply Food is due to close after only being open for 12 months! He was busy on the checkout so didn't get to chat. If I'd thought, I could have looked to see if he was on the checkouts and joined his queue I managed a quick nag on the way past..........
