Hey folks!

I have decided to hold a party at the end of March to celebrate my 40th and told people that it is going to be "come dressed as a song title" themed, after reading about it here some months ago and thinking to myself "what a great idea!".

Now however, I am beginning to get a few tremors. I still think its a FAB idea, but am totally stumped as to what to do for myself.

I want to look fairly glamorous, not silly (itsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini is OUT). and I would really like to be dressed in a way that is maybe slightly cryptic, rahter than obvious (Lady in Red: groan).

Can you put your minds to it for me and inspire??

I will investigate the charts from the day of my birth: I think "Where do you go to My Lovely" was no 1. Perhaps I should just disappear half way through the evening?

Material girl - just wrap yourself in yards and yards of beautiful fabric materials, silks, chiffons, lace, velvets... a bit cryptic though, but can be glamorous... just an idea.
