Omletina Kyckling
I was on an Ashes to Ashes forum only last night and filming is due to finish today for series 2 - many on the forum were saying it is going to be on our screens on March, but I don't know where they've heard this from. I love Ashes to Ashes as that's my era, but also because he drives a red quattro identical to mine!!
Cinnamon
I must comment about 'Demons' & how disappointed I was in it - Poet, did you like it? Good idea, & nice try,but Glenisters 'Dick Tracy' impersonation really got on my nerves & if they had made it more scary, with more adult plots & put it on later it may have worked better. I am looking forward to Primeaval coming back, whenever that is, & Torchwood too.
Guest
I am ambivalent about Demons, on the one hand I liked the idea behind the series and the acting was good and there were some good story lines but when it came to the climax of each episode, it was all over too soon. There was this big lead up to the ending and then they fought the half life for about 30 seconds and then it was dead!? A bit more of a struggle would have made it more....realistic? I agree about Demons, a bit disapointed, unfortunately I heard a while ago that Primeaval had been axed in the cut backs

chickencam
Oooh can't wait That interview answered a question that I have been meaning to Google for ages. Phillip Glennister is Robert Glennister's brother. I thought there was a resemblance. It is not a common name so they had to related. chickric
Didn't realise that there had been a US version of Life on Mars with Harvey Keitel as Gene Hunt, has anyone seen it? Is it any good?

If you ignore our "Life on Mars" and don't try to do any comparisons, then it is very good...although I can't see women swooning over the US Gene Hunt as they did ove the UK one. The episodes start off the same, then differ, and the ending is completely different. I struggled with it a bit, because I was comparing/contrasting it to the UK version for quite a long time. Then I tried to watch it just enjoying it for what it was, and it was fine.
