The questions that immediately sprang to mind were:

 

1. Reborn dolls....Why on earth?

 

2. Why would anyone want to play at having a premature baby that needed intensive care?

 

3. Who in their right mind would pay £100 for two plastic boxes and a bit of vacuum cleaner hose?

I thought it was strange enough that they do these reborn dolls (I watched the programme and sat like this through most of it).

 

It is even stranger that they would make premature reborns, just how sad do you have to be to want one of these. It is quite mind boggling.

Having been the mum of a prem baby I think this is awful! I couldn't, or rather didn't even want to watch the programme when it was on Channel 4. Its just too creepy. *shivers*

 

But back to original things you see of eBay topic. A guy was selling a yellow hairband. The one pictured was red and he said its just like the one pictured, but in yellow. And there were bids on it!

 

There was a funny one where a guy was selling his very clapped out Landrover (or similar) and the listing went on and on about it being next to s"Ooops, word censored!"ping condition with lots and lots of pictures. The person who won it then went on to leave neg feedback, as it was, get this, not as described and in really bad condition!!!!

I find the pics of dolls with IV lines and NG tubes seriously disturbing - the only place for those is in a medical setting for training purposes.

I suppose if someone lost a baby in intensive care it may help them come to terms with what has happened by reliving the experience, very sad.

But I think a grown person pretending that they have a baby in those horrid situations just for the fun of it is sick.

Ok I got to wondering if this was a spoof and so I sent a question to ask if it was genuine as I thought it was a little macabre and I asked why it was so expensive for two boxes and two syphon pumps. (I did spell check my post before I sent it.)
