Condensation under the shower curtain?

Recommended Posts

Just a basic question  (think I am regressing in my knowledge!) but I have shower curtains over my eglu & extended run for the first time, as my new girls are using it. I am a bit concerned over the condensation that forms on the underneath of the shower curtain as I know damp is no good for the the girls - especially as 2 of them have chest infections at the moment.

Any ideas my more knowledgeable Omleteers? Do I need to worry? The eglu is set up on the patio, with aubiose in the run

I've never noticed condensation before on my set up other than very, very early morning. And I have had both the run fully covered by shower curtains and also now, with the corrugated plastic.

If the condensation is only in the mornings and burns off when the sun comes out, maybe that's OK. I don't have my run covers completely to the ground, they stop about a foot either side to let the air circulate but I assume you have similar set up.?

the door end is exposed and there is a good 6 - 8 inch gap around the sides. Wasn't so bad this morning. Trouble is I am out there with them from 6.30 - 7.30am and then scooting off to work so only see it at it's worst. If the weather is good at the weekend when I am home i will take them off anyway. The day I really noticed it we had had constant drizzle, so maybe it was just to do with that. Thanks all - as usual :D
