Tara123
Look at what I picked up on ebay today. It could be approx 90 years old, according to a bit of research on the web. Paid £9.99 for it Thought it would make a good emergency coop if i needed it or to sort out a brooder. Not only that but I just liked it as its different Still love my Eglu more

Cooks
that's brilliant! the bars at the front are pretty useless but if you added some wire it could be a temporary housing.

Tara123
And I think it is SCREAMING to be filled with some heritage pure rare breed chickens... That's sounds like it going to cost me more than the coop is worth When I went to pick it up, the couple who sold it had rescued it from there neighbours skip! They told the neighbour that it was too good to throw away and offered to put it on ebay for them and agreed that the money would go to charity. I was amazed that I was the only bidder, seems a shame as the money was going to a good place , but a happy ending for the coop at least

Tara123
Hi bronze, that's the only thing I could find on the web too. Not sure that I want to spend the £18 for the catalogue either. Anyway never mind if the chickens don't like it then I'm sure the dog could use it as a kennel, as its about the size of an eglu and he's only a small dog. Obviously the grill at the front would be removed Would have been nice to find out more about it though. Thanks for looking it up too Tara Edited March 13, 2009 by Guest
