Would the random numerator machine look like a clean chook bowl (or similar) filled with pieces of scribbled on paper............ ?

No no, it's electronic - that's our business, he makes them. All circuit boards, l.e.d lights, soldering etc etc. - not a chook bowl in sight!

We are all going in the machine as a number - then that does the work. If I used the chook bowl method, I'd be able to tell who I folded up in a certain way!
