mostin
I have a few ideas, but not sure if they definitely fit the 'summer' idea? I'm a bit worried about mine that way too , but I figured as long as it's made by me, with care and love and effort, with an omleteer in mind. Surely that will be ok won't it , I hope . craftyhunnypie
Homemade or handmade by you - that's the only real rule! My sewing machine is coming out in a minute. Parents called this afternoon. I did a cream tea for us all, which was quite bizarre on such a rainy yucky day. Was nice though! Hubby is barbequeing later - he's mad! I didn't get to Dunelm - I'm going tomorrow instead - going to raid the cupboards & see what I can re work & recycle into something! craftyhunnypie
Funny you should say that. I am very into pixies / gnomey things. I have 3 Danish good morning pixies & they are soooo cute. I will have to take some pics of them so you can see. Perhaps they can help me? No I'm not making shoes - wish I could! You're all totally mad aren't you? craftyhunnypie
Why do you think I hang out on here? It's the only place that accepts nutters like me. Well I have just bought a book on making quilts. The craft shop I went today had some fab ones & since coming home, they played on my mind. There are no clues there as to what I'm making for my swapee - totally unconnected I'm afraid! That will get you all guessing. Not quite sure how I'm going to make the small part yet - to go with the main prezzie. Emma.x
Fizzle Knit
Blimey, don't say that, i've not finished the main item yet!!!! Not quite sure how I'm going to make the small part yet - to go with the main prezzie. Emma.x Now I'm worrying - main item, main prezzie - wondering if my intended gift will qualify as a main bit, and even if it does should I be including something extra? craftyhunnypie
Perhaps I worded that wrong . It's a thing, with a thing on - if you understand what I mean. Don't delve too deep - it will drive you mad! ( or madder than you already are) Emma.x

Cooks
that made me laugh! I did change mine a bit, but only minor changes when a friend gave me a hint what my swappee would like.
freddie
I'm still loving my sheep dish cloth from the Xmas swap; it gets used nearly every day, with time off in the washing machine only. So Thank you for that one, its still lovely, and gets thought about every time!!
Chook n Boo Mum
Hello stranger Freddie ...are you summer swapping or has your wrist put paid to that, I'm supposed to be making a 70th birthday card & a wedding card, so shouldn't even be on here don't tell DH ! craftyhunnypie
My smelly chickens from Xmas are still hanging on my door - love them, they make me smile & I like to hear the beads clatter on the door, when I go in & out. My Easter bag, gets used sooo much - also love that to bits as can stuff loads in & it gets lots of comments. Both things are really special to me as they mean friendship. I don't have any true friends around me - they are all on this forum! Emma.x
