A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I got mine today and opened it as I'm away this weekend. It's very pretty! Thank you very much summer santa. Here are pics. It was wrapped very nicely, and came in a lovely wooden bowl with straw. I particularly love the pink one with the little snail in it. Very cute. There are two glittery ones, two with flipflop charms on them, one with a scallop on it and one with a little periwinkle snail shell. One slightly embarrassing question - what are they? They look like they could be hard boiled sweets or guest soaps. I had a little lick of a glittery one and it was tangeriney, but I couldn't determine if it was sweet or soap! So - aside from admiring the cuteness, do I wash with them or eat them? Very cute whatever they are. Very summery, and very homemade and lovely! I am very chuffed to receive such a sweet gift. A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I am wondering if the bowl in my gift is handmade too. It's very pretty. Dark brown with almost black swooshy bits through the wood.
Couperwife
I would love to be able to "woodwork", I used to work with someone who made me a nutmeg grater out of some beautiful wood, its gorgeous

ubereglu
I'd say they were soaps-I think anyway! They look very nice and handy too...I think I like USEFUL presents best as sometimes they're the most thoughtful!
ubereglu
I opened mine today as I'm going away tomorrow and won't have any computer time during the week! Here's what I received: I'm wearing the green necklace now! Unfortunately the bracelets are all too big. But I'm sure I may be able to fiddle with them to get them to fit. Thank you! A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I like USEFUL presents best as sometimes they're the most thoughtful! No they're not! Anyone who has made anything on here has done it with love and thought, be it decorative, or a picture, or useful. They are indeed soaps. Delightfully smelly soaps. A wonderful summer swap present. Really super!

Helly Welly
Mine came this mornig, i'm ever so excited. It's nice having pressies at different times of the year, almost like mini-Christmasses. My birthday is in November so i normally only get pressies at the back end of the year. I've just got to get over this givers anxiety, i hope my recipient likes their pressie.
