feemcg
Lovely...now they'll start clambering all over the other eggs and turning them over, then you can't see the ones that are pipped . Remember don't be tempted to open the incy, the other eggs need the humidity.

Lewis
Exciting I left the video camera balanced on top of the incubator when we were hatching quail, and managed to get quite a few hatching. Good luck with the remaining ones, you'll soon have a house full of neighbours and friends coming to watch the chicks hatch all standing round the incubator in silence *cheep* "Awww"
lisa33
That is fab Jules. I really wish I could hatch some. I won't though as I have no where to take the boys. Keep posting lots of piccies though.

Jules.
We have 3 chicks now, with another 7 pipped. We've popped 2 in the brooder as they were clambering all over the newly-hatched chick. They are doing well in there. We have been sat all afternoon watching them hatch, & I am exhausted now Visitors so far have been B who I'm sharing the hatch with, my friend R & her son B & my mum. R is calling back later, as she didn't get to see a hatch yet. The incy is a See Cube, from Wheatcroft Poultry. It isn't mine, it's B's. Jules.
We have 5 chicks now 2 have hatched in the last half hour, so so far we had a hatch at approx 9.10am 10am 2.30pm 7.10pm 7.25pm it's been a long day so far..... The brooder has the 3 older chicks in it, it is a purple tub trug and is in Ethan's bedroom He will be sleeping elsewhere till Wednesday night The older chicks are lovely & fluffy now, & we have given them cuddles, ANH. Pics to follow when I have brought the ( now damp again ) washing in, & tidied up the garden 3 boys have littered with toys. With the help of eldest son, of course. Jules.
3 more hatched last night!!!! But one was in a terible state: it was covered in blood, couldn't stand and had something hanging off it covered in blood We decided it would be most humane to kill it as we could do nothing for it. Today we have had 2 more hatch- both while we were at church so we missed them so now we have 4 in the incy with 1 pipping and 7 in the brooder the two that hatched last night will go in the brooder later on this afternoon. hoping for more to hatch today- wednesday
