Guest
Last night Harry stood on a wasp and stung his toe We didn't believe him at first as he is a bit of a drama queen when injured, he is male after all Anyway beware of wasps crawling aroiund on your carpets This morning drove to work, showed my pass to the car park attendant, went to park my car and my pass flew off the dashboard and fell in between the gap of my open car window and door How unlucky is that, what are the odds It's not the 13th til tomorrow, although as both Harry and I were born on that date we don't consider them unlucky. PS Am having a rubbish day at work as well Think i'll have to go and have a lie down and a look through Mel's coffee table book
Louise
Apparently there is light at the end of my tunnel and only one more hurdle in life to get through I am having a good day for ideas but physically not quite back to full strength Great site Dan
Jools
Biorythms http://www.care2.com/biorhythms/ - it means that some days you are just not safe to get out of bed. Don't think it would work as a sickie excuse though Edited October 12, 2006 by Guest
Mrs Frugal
Oh dear! Wish I'd not looked at that site, Dan!! I feel gloomy like Eeyore now ! Apparently my general well being is momentarily mediocre, tendency declining and getting worse promptly . Physically I'm tired and drained and should avoid exerting myself. I'm unsure about my emotions. Spend my days without any plan or aim and my reactions leave a lot to be desired! Might as well go back to bed then . Sorry about the bad luck Debs! Tomorrow will be better and a big hug to Harry The Brave!
Jools
Whoops, while trying to find the right site I crossed with the other posts on biorythms - sorry folks. I'd forgotten all about them until this thread came up. I prefer to check when I remember, rather than having them tell me how I feel!!! Don't go for the age calculation - far too depressing and bound to cause a bad day!!!!!
Ms Cluck
oh - for tomorrow my emotions go thru the negative how very true - I have a dentist appointment Lyn

Guest
All 3 of my lines are due to hit rock bottom in the next 2 days! I really had better stay in bed!
Sheilaz
I'll bring you a cup of tea, Ginette. Debs, I know just what you mean, days like that. Shep & I had arrived somewhere after a tedious journey and started on the Grumpy Old Man/Woman stuff respectively about the car park charges where we were staying. He was grumping about the price, and I was grumbling about the ingratitude when I had booked somewhere reasonable to stay.... Rant, rant rant, the very expensive car park ticket flew down next to the windscreen demister grill. Aghhhh! Fraught 15 mins rescuing it to avoid paying again!! The Dogmother
Mine says that I'm phsically well and on top form - LIAR! I am getting over the cold from hell and we're very busy at work, so I'm knackered too Not my usual bright self at all Sorry to hear about Harry Debs - the wasps are right dozy just now after the cold snap last night. Cate in NZ
Aaaargh, I so wish that I hadn't looked at that site I've not been feeling well for the past few days, and work has been unbelievably stressful. Today I felt happy and bouncy and much better able to cope with all the grief, far more like my old self, so I was feeling happy and positive. That site told me that physically I'm moderate, but on a downward trend, everything else is pretty disastrous, and I need to give myself a rest and conserve my energy for the next few days Crikey... tomorrow's Friday 13th as well, maybe I won't bother getting out of bed at all tomorrow. Do you think that the friends I'm meeting for lunch will understand that my biorythmns decreed that I needed to stand them up Oh, and I'm 16155 days old too
Sheilaz
.... Do you think that the friends I'm meeting for lunch will understand that my biorythmns decreed that I needed to stand them up No, I don't! Would you like a cup of tea too, Kate? Was I the only person who put the month and day in incorrectly the first time? Then found that I'm the absolute lowest trough on the intellectual bio rhythm just now! Rest looked OK today, but I seem to be going into an all round decline hitting the lowest possible spots on all 3 by Nov./Dec. That's it, I'm hibernating after half term, which is always exactly how I feel by that time of year. See you all in March.
theherd123
Anyway beware of wasps crawling aroiund on your carpets We have just had to get rid of a whole nest in the ceiling of our spare bedroom! Cost us a fortune! The electrician was putting a new light into the room and bashed a hole in the ceiling crashing through the nest - luckily he only got stung once, unluckily he went into anaphylactic shock and ended up in hospital! Thankfully he is ok now! Yes wasps can still sting you once they are dead - so the fella told us that came to remove our nest. As for the bio-rhythms im having a great day! Lesley
Emma - what an exciting life you lead!! Your poor electrician - is he OK? My son is allergic to wasp stings and he's working here today with the electrician (my Dad) - hopefully, there are no wasps around!

Lesley i would really not use the word exciting to refer to my life! Stressful, disastrous, manic, mad but not exciting Yes thanks heavens he is OK! He drove himself to the hospital despite us insisting we take him - the hospital is about 1 mile away so it was really lucky. When he got there they pumped him full of adrenalin and he was kept for 4 hours. He came back 3 days later to finish the job! I trust your Son & Dad were ok today? buffie
Well had an odd week, house related mishaps. Touched light switch and all the lights popped, it tripped fuse and 2 bulbs blew. Touched dimmer and it no longer dims Went to pull blind and it just wouldn't budge. Ever feel a surge of energy running through you I do and when I feel like this something like this usually happens. I once blew up a kenwood chef Should I worry BBx
