Tiggy
since my 21 yr old cat tripped me up yesterday and the blade of the sissors cut into my finger i am feeling very sorry for myself, prob could have done with a stitch or 2 but it hasn't bled through the dressing so far so best leave it alone. you just dont realise how much you need your fingers to do day to day stuff, going to the loo etc can be tricky!!! ..lay a little egg for me
Is that ouch for the cat trip and ouch for the scissors? Or were you being very naughty and running with scissors (like Mum told you never to) and tripped over the cat thereby driving the scissors into your finger? Hope it heals up soon, anyway... I always keep a load of steri-strips too.

I was quite impressed that he managed to do it and neatly too as I'm rubbish with superglue and would probably have stuck my hands together! Geoid
DIY surgery anyone? When I was doing D of E, I got blisters (along with most people), most people stuck a blister plaster on it and walked around complaining how much the blister hurt etc etc, not me. I got out my penknife, sterilized it under a flame and sliced my blister off. Problem solved.

Tiggy
thanks everyone, the cat survived, I now have proper steri strips on it (the finger not the cat) its typical a dr & a nurse in the house and not a plaster or a paracetamol in sight
