Valkyrie
Just been to collect his lordship from the other side of Basingstoke. Went on the motorway - big mistake - could hardly see for the deluge not to mention spray. No more thunder (yet), but it has been extremely heavy. Has eased off a bit here but still raining. Came back by the A30 - so much steam rising from the road - very eerie looking.

Valkyrie
Dunno why, but this keeps going to Google when I submit my posting Anyhow try again: This morning is dry, but it is very dull and grey. Looks like we could get a lot more rain. Very little breeze at all - has been quite still up to now.

The Dogmother
Cool and drippy here after a night of stair-rodding and distant thunder (was the storm over your way, Lesley?). Slightly brighter now, but the barometer is dropping. Just 14deg this morning too - hardly seasonal

Valkyrie
Well we have had some sun, but I have a blooming headache which needs to be sorted out now. Had it since yesterday. Perhaps I'm picking up your storm. Can't see it from here, the clouds aren't too bad (not good either I hasten to add), not storm looking yet.
