Well just got back in time. Horrendous thunderstorm, lightening thunder and monsoon rain. It's sooooooooo dark.

Yesterday afternoon it was wall to wall wet here in Preesall and it is doing the same today .

Must find my wet suite!!!

Hens safe in their Henian Castle home. This is raised 7 inches about the ground as our garden is known to flood.

Well I am pleased to say that it finally brightened up and has been a gloriously sunny afternoon and it all looks good for a lovely in the garden with a little glass of something

As mum is still here for another night, we popped back to sort out her rubbish bin - temperature reads 19 degrees. It's still warm here. There are a few cloudy patches but the moon and stars are shining through - and a couple of planets - I think Mars is out there. I know where Jupiter is. I gather we're in for a deluge tomorrow.

Monday was lovely - hot and a bit humid

 

Much windier and cooler today, in fact I'm going to put another layer on when I pop home for lunch

Still Rain, Rain, more Rain, oh whats that, yes Rain

We have had brilliant sunshine, black clouds, torrential rain, hail and a cracking thunderstorm which lasted a couple of hours this arvo. Can still hear it in the distance.

Still very pleasant today, although quite windy. We had a light shower in the morning and a really heavy one in the afternoon. Lots of storm clouds around, but we didn't have any here. Still quite mild - I expect I'll have another night of being too hot and throw the covers off only to get them on a while later.
