They are a particular type of small black seedless grape, but I can't remember the name - I'll see if I can find it... Oooh totally agree with Christian - my SIL is a Wiltshire native and that just sums up my brother too! Why is it that I only seem to find the currants with pips - I really don't like crunching cakes, so stick to the bog ( ) standard raisins and sultanas.
