Got home yesterday, sore but pleased to be back. Op went ok and peeing for Britain ( ok too much info sorry) - had bladder repair for those not sure what the heck I am rambling on about. Care was good, nursing staff and Docs were lovely - admin - needed a course at charm school - but hey you cant have everything. met another lady on my ward who was also a nurse and live 2miles up the road so post op coffee meet up next week - and we knew someone in common. so all in all after last weeks ramble re feeling very nevous i am a lot happier this week. thanks again to the lovely ladies who replied to my ramble esp Jlo who sent a positve message.

Good one! I had it done 20 months ago, and it's made a big difference; But..... do the exercises, and keep doing the 'ol pelvic floors!!! it does make a difference!

Really pleased that it all went ok. The only thing I would say is take it easy. You may feel a bit of a fraud after a couple of days but you really do need to avoid overdoing it.

Help I am dying of boredom. Now 4 days post op and so fed up with TV, embrodery and reading the papers i felt something had to give. I find going on the forum hard as my typing is atrocious - think I have post op dementia OH who is acting Flo Nightingale took me out for a coffee today. we went to Costa and managed to drink 1/2 the small bucketful they serve and trot like an obedient doggy behind the trolly and pick up some grub. Then home for a rest in front of Upstairs Downstairs and then decided to make the fat free flapjacks kindly posted by Mazzy (I think) on the all things nice bit. Made choccie ones - big hit with YS and OH - just ES to try them on. Made me feel less zombie like to be doing something. Anyway will endeavour to try a few more recipes without over doing it.
