Following a recent conversation with a friend I thought I'd ask everyone here what they thought.

 

If you are not going out all day, do you still get dressed or do you wear your PJs all day?

Get dressed - feel like I'm off sick if I don't!! Horrid grungy feeling. And the Queen is bound to call if you don't!

Get dressed every time! Unless I was too ill to lift my head off the pillow.

 

Not getting dressed suggests not having a shower.......and that would be unthinkable.

I've put get dressed but if I'm ill I'll stay in my pyjamas. I must admit though at the weekends it can be lunchtime before I get dressed

Well, I'm a PJs every day girl

 

 

If I am at home all day I will do the housework, clean the hens out etc in my PJs then have a nice bath and put my clean PJs on.

 

Looks like I'm on my own then?

I get dressed every day. I always did but since we moved here it is even worse as people call in all times of the day and 7 days a week - we seem to be fair game now

I always get dressed (but if I know I'm going nowhere and seeing "Ooops, word censored!"ody, I'll wear baggy, very unflattering joggy bottoms ).

I get dressed unless im ill. However, i do normally eat my breakfast in my PJs and sometimes put clean PJs on late afternoon / early evening if i have a shower then.

I get dressed too, but often I am still in my dressing gown at 10am, then I have a bath at 4ish, & am back in it after that.

 

I don't do Pyjamas

I have to get dressed. If I stayed in my nightwear I'd feel as if I was turning into my mum!

Get dressed every day unless I'm sooo ill I can't get out of bed. I do have cords/ tracksuit bottoms and scruffy t shirt if I'm not going anywhere and I'm doing jobs around the house. I do put pj's on in the evening after a bath (but I'm mostly a shower in the morning girl).

I am sitting in mine now as I type this, we have to go out later and I needed to clean the house and shower before we go so I refuse to get out of PJs and get into clean clothes to do this.

 

I have even, like you, cleaned the chooks out in them too . OH laughs as he can come home at 4 and I'll still be in them sometimes as it has taken me longer to do a job than I thought. It does look bad if someone knocks on the door, but they shouldn't judge me as they don't know the details.

 

I just find it very therapeutic to shove PJ's in wash basket and jump in shower when finished they are, after all, a lot easier to wash than a full set of clothes

In the holidays it is sometimes gone 11am by the time I get dressed. I do some of the mucky jobs then have a shower and get dressed. You can guarantee(sp) that if you don't someone will call round

 

I like to be dressed in the daytime and will only change into PJ's after a bath on a cold winter evening, because like Cinammon I don't do nightwear, just a dressing gown and undies.

 

Wouldn't save ironing for me I love ironed pJ's.

I do have a pair of Jammies - sky blue with white stars on, very Ally McBeal - but as I only wear them when I am ill I call them my sick Jammies

 

Always handy to keep a pair around for emergencies anyhow

 

My dressing gown is fleece, about 2 sizes too big for me & gorgeous & snuggly & I always,always wear a pair of Totes Toasties with it too

I do own PJ's too but only a couple of sets and I have a huge dressing gown with a hood. It is dark blue and I have been descibed as looking like the grim reaper outside on a cold winter's morning by my family

So, there are two of us then!! We could start a club??

 

The postman, milkman, Asda delivery man and neighbours are used to seeing me in my PJs and don't ask if I'm unwell or if I had a lay in anymore

 

Dressed at the mo as I'm off out but no plans to leave the house tomorrow so can guarantee I will be in PJs all day

well I am known to stay in my pj's until late morning if I am not doing anything.. or just doing the housework (as I would shower after this not before)

 

I would always get dressed at some point though....

PJs or dressing gown will be on for a disturbingly long time on weekends when I am not going out. it drives my mother to distraction as I will happily answer the door or go onto the main road to do the bins in them.

 

If not in that, my slob around the home clothes could quite easily pass for PJs!

 

When I get home from work, in the winter especially, I will dive into my snuggle dressing gown!

Another jammie fan here... and now my boys ask for jammie days too... I love it, we watch films and play all day (only once in a while, need to take them out most of the time to expend some energy!!)

 

I have been known to go to my local in a big fleecy babygro I had in my late teens (pub was just around the corner) and it was a very small local pub, so no one batted an eyelid!!!! This was many years ago, and no I wouldn't dream of doing it now, though I would love another fleecy babygro!

i don't own a pair i really hate wondering round the house in PJs i won't do it even if i'm ill. If i'm too ill to get dressed i'm in bed n if i get up i get dressed.if i wear them after i've got up i always feel ill n tired even if i'm not actually

I can't do things unless I'm dressed (and showered) - I might put slob-around clothes on, especially in winter, but I have to be washed and dressed or I can't focus.

 

Besides, if I DID stay in my PJs (not that I wear any), you can guarantee someone would knock at the door, I always get caught out!
