Ana's flock
Hi all interested in taking part in the Halloween/Samhain swap! If you want to play in our next pressie swap, please pm me with your addresses before midnight on 29th August and I'll put them into my cauldron, stir them three times deosil (that's clockwise) and after resting under the waxing moon overnight I'll let you know who your secret swapper is so that we can start crafting our pressies before the following Friday's full moon. Bubble bubble craft no trouble (cackle cackle cackle) Ana (jumps on her broomstick to fly away towards the nearest Hobbycraft)

Couperwife
Ive given my name to Ana but, swappery peeps , could we make this a challenge??? what about a "size" limit, or a p&p price limit? I thought this for 2 reasons, first, it will make us post earlier, cos 2nd class is cheaper than first 2nd, people who arent as confident in their "creative" ability, wont feel as threatened. I hope no one thinks im being awkward, cos Ive had some fantastic presents (sill got my first one on my bag )but I can see anyone who is new to the swapping being a bit daunted with the size of some of the gifts. *sits back hoping that no-one takes offence * cathy x

Cooks
me neither... I have no objection to Cathy's suggestion
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Good plan Cathy! Note to new peeps - don't be daunted regardless. People LOVE to receive the EFFORT that's gone into things. And some things which look daunting or expensive may have been knocked up from fabric and supply stashes which people are desperate to reduce in size. So you're not getting a Harrods-priced gift - you're doing them a favour!

Sha x Can I go against the tide a little on this As someone of limited skill resources I make what I think I can do. I find it hard choosing what to do at the best of times but to have to now try and work out what to make within boundaries is actually more daunting Of course, it comes down to the majority vote/choice but thought I'd add my thoughts. A chickychickychick-ENN!!
btw - I googled the sick pumpkin. I didn't make it, so you're all safe. OR ARE YOU? Mwah ha ha ha ha, gets on broomstick etc etc.
AMS
I agree with Ygerna. I wouldn't enjoy taking part so much if there was a strict budget. Alison
craftyhunnypie
I'm thinking of a few knitting projects, which could be funny shaped / long - so that would go against size & p&p rules. At the end of the day it is up to the maker what he / she wants or can make. Emma.x
Plum
I'll go with anything Ana decides but I don't think anyone has felt intimidated this time have they? It's just fun and sharing craft. What about keeping to one item only, and we have the theme.
