Aunty e
Well. I crawl in. But I can also do it when the lid is off the eglu, by leaning through the eglu door, I just forgot to do that last week.

You must be tiny! And I'm afraid the lid comes off our eglu once in a blue moon!
The Dogmother
I can just about get in through the run door, but I usually send Rosie in - gives her a bit of a treat and a break from going up chimneys!

Gallina
Crawling into the Eglu run isn't as bad as you might think. An estate agent would probably use the phrase "deceptively spacious". Once you are through the entrance hole, it feels quite big. I am 5ft 11in. When you have two extensions, it become a necessary evil.

Aunty e
I only do it in full gardening gear. But once I do a little wriggle through the door there's lots of room. I have to get in every so often to rearrange the branches anyway. I tend to do it when I'm cleaning the eglu and a bit gross anyway.

The Dogmother
Not at all! I usually clean out the run by detaching it and raking the whole lot out. But every now and then, the chooks kick someting to the back and I have to send Rosie in or get in myself It would help if Omlet designed some release clips to attach the run. Don't know what their proper name is though - will have to ask Phil.
