Chook n Boo Mum
Debs, they are really quite feathered already.....sorry I'm slow on the uptake as usual !! .......my girls were much less feathery, except Peanut who had a feathery saddle across her back so has always looked much better than the others.................how are they one week in......... Space Chick
They are brilliant They have really discovered how exciting life outside the cage can be. They are all scratching around well now, and have discovered the joys of meal worms, corn and pekka blocks They have also started dustbathing too, so I think they can now all remember that they are chickens. 2 of the 3 are laying in the nesting box, sadly Barbara is not so bright, and is still laying on the floor We did need to bumper bit Polly as she brutally attacked Barbara and bled her back and comb, but that was on day 2, and they seemed to have settled down a bit now, although Polly is still definitely boss I haven't let them free-range yet, as their run is quite big and they are still very nervous. I am tempted to let them have some time out today. Thankyou for asking
