BeckyBoo
.....here's my Harrison trying on his uniform before his big day tomorrow. He's really looking forward to it, although he's only JUST 4 and I'm a bit worried about how he'll manage academically as he can't even hold a pen properly yet, I think he'll love it. He's so sociable having been brought up with two older sisters. My last one off into the big bad system, I can't pretend I've got babies any more.... Sunshine
He looks really excited to be in his uniform. When i went to primary i started in December as my birthday is late August, quite a few of us started in December from what mum has told me. I hope he has fun tomorrow! My littlest sister has just started secondary so its an end of an era for mum(no more school runs and nattering in the playground!)

BeckyBoo
And there he was gone! With a cursory, "yeah see you later Mum" and a wave over his shoulder my last baby was launched into the system, the unstoppable roller coaster from which there is no escape! I didn't cry because he looked so happy with his friends and so smart in his uniform (he's been outside playing in it since 8 o clock - don't suppose that'll happen too many more times!) He's part time this week so only got a couple of hours to myself, good luck to anyone elses little ones starting school this week BeckyBoo

ubereglu
Aw, bless! Hope he has a good first day! I'm surprised he's not doing half days for the first half term-my old primary school did for reception and still does!
Snowy
How is your morning so far Becky? My last one has also started today (well Friday really) and is only there until 11.30 all this week. Luckily school is across the road so I still have time to do some housework! (for housework read catch up on the forum!) I think it will feel even more strange when he is there full time! Clur
My daughter started 'big' school this morning and I'm due to pick her up at 12pm. She's doing half days until January. She marched in like she owned the place, so I think it's safe to say she'll enjoy it!
