Couperman
I am hobbling about at the minute due to a sprained ankle that I didn't sprain. I was sitting in the chair on Saturday night and my ankle started to hurt for no reason it then swelled up to quite a size. Didn't get much sleep that night as I couldn't get comfy. Anyhow thinking I had contracted some evil flesh eating bug I hopped off down to the doctors to be be told I had indeed sprained it. Apparently you can do damage to your ankle days previously think nothing of it at the time and pay the price later Everytime I have done my ankle in before I have always remembered exactly when, where and how I did it. I could understand waking up with an injury and not remembering how I got it but to feel fine and then develop one later in the day whilst doing nothing..... Weird Kev. Mutrix Farmers
Hope you feel better soon! I once woke up with a sprained ankle. The only explanation the Doctor could give was that I may have got it tangled up in the duvet during the night!!

Kirstine
Oh poor Couperman! I have never heard of a self-spraining ankle, but I knew someone who had a self-breaking foot. It was painful and swollen, but she couldn't recall doing anything to it; they only discovered a bone was broken after an eventual x-ray. Anyhow, I hope you feel better soon.
