thanks Koojie.

 

Anyone got any tips for getting fluids into him? He's reluctant to drink as his throat's hurting, even offered him squash (he usually only drinks water) but he's left most of it. He did have a bit of a coughing fit half way through though.

 

He's just fallen asleep with his head on the sofa arm, he was waiting to play CBeebies on my 'puter.

Will he suck on an ice pole or lolly? That can help sooth his throat and get fluids into him.

 

He probably would if I had any. I do have some ice lolly moulds, I could stick some in now ready for tomorrow. He did have a few grapes, they'd been in the fridge so were nice and cold.

Does anyone know if you can have Swine Flu without a raised temperature?

 

According to my GP no, it is the raised temperature that is the key symptom to set it apart from typical colds. My temperature when I got it was over 39 degrees C, which is quite hot apparently!

 

Chicken curry - her dad is cooking :D It's what she wanted but we are having take away pizza tomorrow :drool:

 

Can I come for tea tonight and tomorrow please :drool:
