Henry and Thomas have never got along. Thomas used to live next door until I adopted him (long story!), however, because they were sworn enemies for years, I never thought they'd get along and accept each other.

 

Well Thomas has been "ours" for 3 years, and they have finally buried the hatchet and decided to be friends

 

Here they are together this morning, this is the first time I have ever been able to photograph them together

There's still that look of wariness in both of them though - like Thomas says "do you feel lucky, punk? Well do you?" Now you are going to have to change his name to Clint!

I think you are all right, Thomas still has the don't mess with me viewpoint

 

However, it is still fabulous progress considering 3 years ago there was blood shed every time they came near each other. Henry would bark, Thomas would panic and lash out

 

Henry will still bark in the living room for some unknown reason (probably because his basket is there), but in the rest of the house, they now are on friendly terms with each other
