Anyone watch this last night? What did you think?

Have just watched it and am intrigued. Has any one read the book it is based on or any other ones by the same author, Robert J. Sawyer?

We've recorded it - the clips look interesting, but we saw a Vin Diesel movie instead (very disappointing too).

I'm looking forward to the new Stargate spin off with Robert Carlisle.

Watched most of it (came across it after it had been going for about 15 mins). It looks like an intriguing premise. Will probably try to catch the other episodes but as there are to be 22 , may not stay the course! You have reminded me that I was going to Google Robert J. We watched it last night and quite enjoyed it. For a first episode, with such huge hype, it had a lot to live up to. Not as great as I'd hoped, but I'm sure it will be a grower.

Found it a bit hard to follow - lots of characters. Felt sorry for the guy that didn't have a 'flash forward' And I wish I had a memory that could recall so much from a dream - all those post its!!!!

Yes I watched it and quite enjoyed it. It was a little slow I thought but then at the end the person who was moving when everybody else was unconscious was spooky which I loved

 

Will watch it again next Monday and will see if it catches some speed

Well I missed it because I thought it started next week.

 

But I've read several Robert Sawyer books. I like him (may have to buy more books now, didn't know he'd written so many more).

 

He has written a trilogy based on a parallel universe where Neanderthal is the dominant human rather than homo sapiens (Hominids, Humans, Hybrids). Intriguing premise... particularly his depiction of Neanderthal society.

 

I may just buy the book and forget the TV series.

I read somewhere that the kangaroo was supposed to be a link to something - possibly. I reckon Skippy was trying to get help for someone, but the FBI fellow just didn't understand.

Unfortunately I did rather spoil it when I told OH that the partner didn't have a future memory because he was likely to die along the way (or maybe in a coma??). Perhaps I should write scripts - too many CSI's and I have everyone pegged.

I also think it worth reading the books - something different yet still the sort of things I would pick out - eventually.

We watched and potentially will love it, but then we loved the first few series of Lost before we gave up on that.

Hopefully, it won't get like Lost - we also gave up on that (got a bit frustrated with it - even though I liked Hurley! and of course Sawyer).

Funnily enough, the well did come to mind of all the places!

Anyhow, I have fingers crossed for a good series.

We also liked Lost by only have freeview so haven't watched any since channel 4 lost it. the dvds are too expensive.

I only baught part of one of the episodes where they all just wake up so I am hoping to catch more as it looked quite good IMO

If you watch this and read the Sunday Times, then don't read the News Review section this week. I was reading something in there which I thought was totally unrelated and it said this is why everyone blacked out on Flash Forward....

I have to say it is really growing on me and I am actually looking forward to it each week. I thought last nights episode was really good. I thought that the chap was going to die and then his eyes would be transplanted into someone else, which was why he saw himself as a black man. Got that a bit wrong Hubby thought it was because the flashforwards some people were seeing weren't necessarily their own.
