This was my prized veggie and flower border that chickens weren't allowed in.

 

 

These are my girlies eating it all having eaten everything else in the garden.

 

 

This is what we made them instead.

 

 

 

They seem to like it and have just been given some logs but they are not very impressed with them yet.

Lovely gladiolus, think I'll grow some next year. Mine only escape into the borders couple of times a day. it wouldn't take them long to flatten it. I think it must be those veg that sealed it for you

It takes so long to get a border looking like that. Chickens take 5 seconds to eat it, but hey they must come first. Looks a lovely playground for them. They will love the logs.

We have been trying to think of a better set up for our girls and you have just given me the idea, hope you don't mind me copying you

 

At the moment the girls take up most of my garden and as I am an avid gardener I would like some of it back, but your set up is perfect
