PurpleHen
Have had a slight accident with some fruit salad.... So if yes and it was successful, please let me know the settings - and likewise it it wasn't so successful...
ali-s
Spooky Mine is in the washing machine now. Its the first time I have washed it. My bag was disgusting, blackberry juice from October foraging mixed with a little mud where I put it on the ground, tea stains from when I put it on the table at work and lots of other little marks. I've bunged it in with a load of coloured items on a 40oc setting. I'll let you know the outcome in about and hour.
Guest
I'm sure it'll be fine in the washing machine - they're 100% cotton, so should wash fine!
ali-s
I will be heartbroken if the Omlet logo fades or worse washes off
Charlottechicken
I haven't washed mine yet as am still using it 'carefully'. Does anyone else make sure the logo is facing out when they use their bag, so everyone can see it, or is it just me?
theherd123
No you are not alone!! I do it too!!

ali-s
Does anyone else make sure the logo is facing out when they use their bag, so everyone can see it, or is it just me? I do that as well The bag is now drying. It will need ironing The Omlet logo is still there.....phew It looks OK, however I have got it into my head that it is smaller If anyone with an Omlet bag who has the urge to measure it I could check the measurements with my nice clean one
Guest
Ali, my very grubby, never been washed bag measures 15x16 inches.
ali-s
It has shrunk slightly. It measures 15x14 inches I washed it at 40oc. So maybe a cooler wash, look after it better or buy a new one
ubereglu
It might not have shrunk ali, the fibres might just have swollen with the water as I have a bolero which does that.

Will give it a go ona low temp then - thanks
The Dogmother
Sounds better than my Omlet knickers then - they are fine in themselves and fit well, but the logo has almost totally faded off

Laura007
washed it but it came out really really really creased!!!!!!! i cant see myself ironing it so using it at the moment for really heavy items, hoping it will stretch them out. ubereglu
Is the shopping bags made out of Calico??? I was just wondering as they're in that sort of colour and the way you've said they crease badly...
PurpleHen
Forgot to update you all...... Sheilaz
This is a great topic to have started, i'll wash mine carefully when the time comes. I thanked LSH today for my set of 3 as I've used them non stop since he gave them to me for Christmas, and am very pleased. Well, I did actually buy them myself & gave them to him to give to me.
