Spent the day cleaning up in the kitchen and I've still got tons to do. I'm not going to look up at the spider webs - bad enough sorting out worktops (still have trays of tomatoes all over the place and drying beans). So after all that scrubbing the cooker I made dinner and had a lovely bath. I waft clouds of Imperial Leather everywhere - I also leave tracks of white footprints all over the carpet. Ahem. I appear to have big feet.

Well Ciaran is so adorable at the moment. Another nice day with him. I also found out that he doesn't like MIL either and why - that did come as a surprise because they have usually got on well. So that's 3 of us now - I can't possibly have her over for Christmas - democratic vote taken and the nay's have it.

Weather been quite strange here - we did have sun this morning, briefly, and we had spitty bits of rain, the big stuff didn't arrive till about 2-ish. Erin told me that it rained from the time I took her to college earlier this morning and it hadn't stopped. I had been marvelling at the huge floody puddles in Basingstoke. What a difference a couple of miles makes.

I'm going to have a quick visit on the other postings now, see you later folksies.

Er...world domination can come in the morning, I am going to bed now

Hello - just about to disappear, been watching the new Stargate. Not too sure about it yet, but there is only one character that I like because he is funny and lightens the programme (unlike all the hotties in Atlantis - they were all much more likeable because they were funny too).

Gave Ciaran a big raspberry on the neck - harrrrrr! And he's been doing jobs for "love" not money! Something new to surprise me every day.

I chucked all DD's stuff in a few black bin bags and dumped them in the garage - they were there for weeks. Just goes to show she didn't miss anything (that was when she was at school). Since then she has taken over the dining room a few times. I have bundled everything in boxes and dumped them on her bed - she sleeps with the junk on the bed! Just recently everything moved back into the dining room. As a result I stopped cleaning in there - which upset Murray a fair amount because he wanted to entertain some business friends. Not my problem. Funny that - he soon cleaned it himself. Now if only he would do the same in this room (which I also refuse to do - especially when he told me that he was going out and it would be a good time for me to hoover in there. Rebellious? Moi? You bet yer boots when spoken to as if I were some slave  ).

Anyway enough of the Meldrew Moments.

Morning peeps. Just about to let my flock out. At least Debs yours are going in the nesting box, Sioux seems to have an allergy about it and been on strike for months now. The little ones just want to sleep in there at night (good excuse to go down, give them a cuddle under protest and block the box off). Poor Apache is excused because she is still moulting.

Weather - been raining in the night, but just dull now.

Morning all! Hubby enjoyed the footie last night, although he got soaked. He thought it would be a good idea to park in town and walk to the ground, he didn't leave enough time though and ended up running most of the way. Then he realised he didn't know which gate he was meant to be going through, tried one, card rejected, then a steward told him to go through a really posh entrance - was accepted. But then the steward in there told him he was in the wrong place and needed a different gate. Tried that gate - card rejected. Luckily the steward at the posh gate thought that might happen and followed him. Eventually got to his seat and found the whole row was soaking.

So while he was getting cold and wet, I spent a productive evening glass painting. :D

He was aching a wee bit by the time he got home
