Olly
I love it ... well the last series was good, anyway. Chick Wiggle, prepare yourself for evenings of shouting at the tv 'you stupid idiots, what were you thinking' as they plan ridiculous menus, come up with dreadful ideas for entertaining, cook execrable food and bicker with each other over trivial things while their customers wait hours for the food to be produced. It's VERY entertaining!
poachedegg
Definitely one for series link.......well hopefully, if its as good as previous series!

Olly
I was pondering on memorable moments from previous series as I travelled home tonight - that woman (who was the first series winner, I believe) who burst into tears all the time - the can-can dancers - the chap who fried pig's lung and served it up - ooh, I can't wait! Faye&Ant
I was pondering on memorable moments from previous series as I travelled home tonight - that woman (who was the first series winner, I believe) who burst into tears all the time - the can-can dancers - the chap who fried pig's lung and served it up - ooh, I can't wait! I still laugh at the two blokes last year who messed everything up each week , argued all the time and then went all the way to the end.... Reikiranf
I love the restaurant too! So I'm looking forward to Thursday night. I'm also enjoying 'Restaurant in your living room' which is a smaller scale version on Virgin 1 with a lot less at stake, some of the episodes have been really funny, especially the couple who used their garden like a drive in, but totally missed the point of a restaurant and bought food from Iceland & got in a hog roast

Egluntyne
Well, the 'coconut soup' pair deserved to go! Their use of knives was astonishing, especially when there was a tin opener available........it was a professional kitchen after all! I was surprised at the other choice, although the son was somewhat wet. I'd have got rid of Gravadlax woman and her irritating husband. How inappropriate of the cocktail waiter to keep winking at Raymond Blanc. He got the telling off he deserved.
Laura & CTB
Great start wasn't it? I've already started shouting at the TV! I felt really sorry for the chap who tried to cook the wellington and ended up with just a piece of meat on the plate though.
Space Chick
I don't know what to make of the new format though It looks like they won't be getting their own restaurants, as it said that next week they will be running a chain restaurant The coconut soup people definately deserved to go, you can't let someone loose in a kitchen that used knifes like that Its a wonder they have all their fingers if they are like that at home too
Laura & CTB
I'm sure I read somewhere that it's after next week they get the restaurant- there are only six of them!
ClaireG
I know I couldn't believe the way they were using the knives. I liked the Nigerian ladies and hope they do well.
Space Chick
My favourites were the Pork wellington boys, they seemed sensible and really ambitious and the Chocolate fondant couple. Not sure about the army bloke and his new best friend army chef of all of 8 weeks The couple that served up the smoked salmon - what were they thinking If I had a chance to cook for Raymond, I would want to do something fabulous and unique, not serve him shop bought rubbish
chick wiggle
We watched it for the first time last night, Oh was none too pleased, he didna wanna watch it! But by the end of it we were both hooked Those women with the knives i couldnt believe my eyes and was literally squirming on the sofa expecting to see flying fingers any minute! I loved that the blonde couple made Raymonds signature dish - very brave, and i think they did ok. already looking forward to next weeks
