Valkyrie
Rats - I forgot to say white rabbits. Ho ho ho, Merry December. I'm up early because Ciaran has gone walkabout - hasn't taken his phone - therefore not answering because it's in his room. Apparently he's gone powerwalking with his friend up the road to get some sort of yukky food. So now I'm wide awake. Boys! Fortunately I read the National Show thread and had one mighty guffaw (well it would have been had I not tried to muffle myself)! Perhaps I'd better get back to bed before his lordship comes back. Ah the joys of motherhood. Next life I'm going to be a nun (in a convent which has chickens)!

Valkyrie
Well her ladyship went to see the vampire film - she got a bit of a lecture when she eventually came home - she's off to see the ghosty one tonight. She thought it was an actual documentary until we said it was actors pretending to make a documentary. Think I'd rather watch Most Haunted - that's funny. After ignoring their nice apple brekkers yesterday, they are tucking into Weetabix layers pellets this morning. A little robin is waiting for the bits that fly in his direction. His lordship wandered in at 4.30 this morning. Then I went back to sleep.
ClaireG
Happy December Brrrrrrrr it's a chilly one here this morning. PurpleTree
Afternoon! It's f-f-f-freezing I've given in and just put the heating on. I'm half expecting my grampy to come down this afternoon, so I don't want him to be cold (honest). I had a go at making dumplings last night, to plop on top of my casserole. Just needed to make a quick phonecall to my mum to find out what to do first. They were yummy

Space Chick
I thought that too Ironic really, as I made a lamb and barley stew yesterday for our tea tonight, and didn't even think about dumplings
Lewis
Not a huge fan of dumplings here ... but saying that we're not meat eaters, only chicken ... might have to have a chicken stew thing with dumplings Just sold some more stuff on ebay ... and bought mother some ear-rings for christmas
Space Chick
You are a good lad Lewis, I'm sure your mother will love the earrings. You need to spoil her, I thought she was lovely, and she's warming to more chickens. Perfect parent I say
Lewis
I've only been nagging for 4 years SHould have gone to a chicken show years ago! Its dinner chickens and a WIR that are the next things Will do, I've spent far too much on brother (over £60 - crazy gerbil bits ) and £40ish on father, and not enough on mother! Will find a few more bits though

Scramble
Other way around here...I always end up with things for mother but I can never think what to get Chichi! He gets loads of random mini things I pick up from odd places while I'm out...last year I bought him a t-shirt ... I told him I thought it would make him look like a panda ( I meant it in a nice way ) but he wasn't impressed Gah...all I've bougth so far is something for my friend's birthday on monday...need to get stuff for mum's birthday on tuesday and buy christmas presents as well as making cards.. Ah...not enough time
Lewis
I normally spent about £10, but this year has been really wierd with dad being ill ... again, so spent a bit more and then I got a bit carried away on ebay Nat said he'll give me £20 for the gerbil cage but its still a lot - he bought my Russell Howard ticket for my birthday so spent more than normal aswell - thats what I tell myself
PurpleTree
I bought a few things on Hawkins Bazaar after seeing it on the Stocking Fillers (nearly wrote Thrillers then) thread. I may live to regret one of the things I bought for Dan though - a whoopee cushion! Might let him take it to my parents house on Boxing Day when all the family are there. Valkyrie
Murray's pressie arrived today along with little bruv's t-shirt. It looks really good! Murray laughed when he saw it (didn't show him the other bit). He has told me that he isn't getting anything for me. Whoopadedoo. Well I can't buy him his snoring remedies now. He'll have to have his torch for his birthday instead - which is in January anyway. Hmmph! I am off out tonight with my ickle fwend. We are off to the carvery in Frimley. Tomorrow while Murray pinches my car for work, I am zipping off somewhere in Abingdon with my neighbour - some shop or other that she wants to show me. She's always zipping round and finding different places. Thing is she has really good taste with things - food and design - she does interior design thingies. We all pinch her ideas round here. But at least I tell her I'm copying! So I'll say nighty night because when I come home no doubt this seat will be filled by Erin's bottom! xxx
Space Chick
I save into a monthly Christmas savings account, and the money comes out at the end of October every year, just in time for shopping. However, every year I seem to have to increase the amount I pay in I do spend a lot on the Godchildren though probably about £75 each. I also spend a lot on my sister probably another £75 to £100. Then by the time I buy for my sisters husband, my Grandad, get a little something for my other friends children, buy for my aunties, get thankyou gifts for my team in work etc etc I find I have spent about £500 and thats before I buy for Phil and get in "nice things" for Christmas I shudder to think how much I'd have to save if I had Children myself Oh well, its worth it to see the looks on peoples faces when they like their gifts Have fun tonight Koojie, and night night
