Margaret
I know WE are all mad So dont feel to daft posting the question. Can I put a real tree in the girlies run Dont think they would eat it, but thought i could decorate it with threaded popcorn instead of tinsle and use Mazzarina's cake recipe to make stars and snowman shaped baubles!!! Have I really lost the plot +WIR Lavender Mabel Posh Marjorie Violet
Falkor
Maybe you have lost it a little bit but this is the Omlet Forum so you are allowed! If I can put fairy lights on the run then a christmas tree seems reasonable.... How about a sprout tree instead? That is what my girls got on their Xmas Eve clean out last year
Gelbel
No - you have not lost the plot I have been wondering what to do too. I have brought meal worms (thank you Wilkinsons) as a pressie or Christmas nibbles.

Janty
I made three more hats out of felt yesterday for the chicks. The idea is that they will have their photos taken with their hats on next to their Christmas soft toy I've ought them. I will scatter red and white feathers on the floor of their brooder and the photos will e used for our family Christmas cards this year. Huy says I'm nut but then came up with the text for the card...'I'm pekin out for Santa!' The hats are made out of a felt cone, sewn down the back with a strip of fur fabric sewn around the bottom. The pom-pom is just a little bought one that is sewn on.
