alih
Anyone see it tonight? It just gets better and better...what terrifying monsters! and as for the return of the Master I can't wait - 2 of my favourite actors in my favourite show. And Bernard Cribbins to boot - he made me weep last time so will have tissues at the ready come Xmas!
bluekarin
It was really good. The kids were actually hiding behind cushions for this one! Those poor actors though, spending all that time with water pouring out of their mouths! Not a nice feeling I'd imagine. And the trail for the next one OMG! Can't wait
Snowy
I didn't realise this was a new episode - I didn't watch it but was on the phone to my Dad who was watching it - from behind the settee

Cinnamon
I just wish David Tennant, would stop gurning....... Me too - I am sure he is quite nice looking when he isn't over doing the face I thought it was brilliant - really emotional & well acted In fact I found it really captivating,& its a long time since a TV show did that. chickenNutter
Those monsters were too good - I am very dopey this morning having been woken 4 times in the night by my daughter having nightmares about them. About 4 in the morning we gave in and let her stay in our bed. I wouldn't mind, but she is 11!
Chucky Mama
I just wish David Tennant, would stop gurning....... chickenanne
I just wish David Tennant, would stop gurning....... Well, if you don't want him, can I have him instead please....? He's LOVELY and no amount of gurning will change my view of him . I watched it ON MY OWN. I must be officially a Grown Up now (well, perhaps). MedusA
I just wish David Tennant, would stop gurning....... Well, if you don't want him, can I have him instead please....? He's LOVELY and no amount of gurning will change my view of him I'll fight you for him. He's my favourite Doctor by far (and I've seen every single episode since the first William Hartnell one). I loved last night's episode. Much better (and scarier) than the last one with the flying bus. I can't wait for the Christmas episodes. I love John Simm as The Master. It will be a double-edged sword though as I can't bear the thought of David going and being regenerated.
Goosey Lucy
I haven't watched it yet - I'm on my own Definitely not feeling like a grown up - sounds much too scary for me. Plus it's raining like it's never rained before and we have a leaky ceiling in the siting room
chickencam
Very deep I thought. I want DT to stay for ever
Helly Welly
DD and i thought it was fab but OH thought it was a bit lame. He reckons it was too predictable, apart from the ending. I'm looking forward to a new doctor as, much as i love him, David Tennant is becoming almost a caricature of himself. He is brilliant but you kind of know exactly what he's going to do and say. PurpleTree
I don't really watch Dr Who, but it started before we had chance to turn the telly off last night, and Dan insisted on watching it. I didn't find it very scary, it was quite good though, although I bathed the boys half way through, so maybe I missed the scary bit. The boys weren't scared either, and they both slept all night with no probs. I haven't seen who's the new Dr. Pictures?
debbier
I haven't seen who's the new Dr. Pictures? It's Matt Smith:

Cinnamon
I love the fact that he is so funky - he looks like he could front an Indie band I am really interested to see what his Dr look is going to be like too
alih
Jules, I remember you having the DIVINE DT as your avatar when I first joined the club! He can do no wrong in my eyes....but Matt SMith does look funky and I bet he will be great. I can't believe how excited I get about each episode: am blown away by the writing of something that within an hour touches upon profound subjects all within the confines of a children's show. Intelligent, moving, marvellous stuff. And whenever I am asked what my dream job would be..it's always the same...Dr Who's assistant...if only Jim'll Fix It was still on ! bluekarin
I loved last night's episode. Much better (and scarier) than the last one with the flying bus. I can't wait for the Christmas episodes. I love John Simm as The Master. It will be a double-edged sword though as I can't bear the thought of David going and being regenerated. The Christmas one looks really good. I think I may have to have a box of tissues at the ready for the end Is it DT's final one at Christmas? Seagazer
We really enjoyed this episode. Should I admit that I was the only one that was scared? Ooh they freaked me out a bit, definitely as scary as the shop dummies that were back in the 70's. They scared the living daylights out of me. I still find the music a bit too loud though.
