A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Some bowls: A door plaque. We're not proud. Our house IS stoneclad. A selection of Christmas ornaments. Note the missing bauble on the tree, the burnt texture of the gingerbread man, the exquisite painted detail on the turkey, and the 'I've just fallen into a mantrap' leg on the deer: I'm currently working on a festive neanderthal village as made by one-armed monkeymen. I know, I know, it's going to be incredible and amazing and easily as good as the turkey ornament and really Christmassy, but you'll just have to wait for the pics til it's out of the kiln! Plum
They are so good. I am severely tempted to find a class next year.
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Thanks Plum and Snowy, but come now, Laurmurf is right - my decorations and tureen are very, very 'special'! Some of the people in class who are less slapdash happy have done great things in their first term, and some of the wheelwork from the older ones - wow. Le Creuset's got nothing on them! We're going to have a shonky pottery Christmas day table anyway!

Couperwife
I love the bowl with the tree on it did you use a mould? (it took me nearly a year of 2 hours a week to get reasonable at the wheel , some of my creations are amazing ) well done!! you are doing fabby cathy x
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
A mould and a cookie cutter although my wheel work's not too bad. Made four candle pots on my first go, and have done a jar-pot and a plate which are in the kiln.
