Valkyrie
Still iced in now. Our nice neighbour went to the local Te$co's to fill up with necessaries - murder she said. Not the A30, not the high street but getting onto those roads was so dangerous. Her son abandoned his car last night at the roundabout at the back of us because he was going sideways down the slope. He pushed it to the side - then a big car overtook and did exactly the same thing, so they both pushed that sideways down to the roundabout and the other man thanked him and carried on his way. Neighbour's son walked the couple of hundred yards home. Her daughter was at a party in Basingstoke yesterday, went to the cinema and the dad picking them all up was stuck - they eventually got home after being on the road for 6 hours! In the end he drove south to junction 7 and came back up the motorway which had been cleared. Ciaran said the trains are fine - I think they were the only transport that worked for a change. Sounds like you had a fun day Lewis. 2 days to go Debs - of course you aren't looking forward to it and not excited one bit are you. You'll be the only one with a brown face among the pasties when you come home. And we'll be expecting piccypiccypiccies.

Valkyrie
Hellllllooooooooo! The cube door stuck this morning - or rather the handle wouldn't turn so I had to wiggle it and then it was OK. The covers are stiff like wooden planks! I don't think I can get into the cube to clean it! Scwamble! Leek geek! I don't mind the geek bit because I've always wanted to be a geek - lack of brains you see. I think that was a brilliant summary by the way. Hello Laura again. Next door's boyfriend has tried to reverse his mini out of their driveway and it's stuck - so the neighbours car is stuck in the road. We haven't tried moving yet. It's getting mistier here - would classify it as fog now. Lovely - not!
ClaireG
Morning all Am of you Debs, i'd love to go back to Vegas. DH and DS have gone off to the DHL depot, it's quite a way from here but the phone number we were given either keeps saying line is busy, rings forever or someone picks up and puts phone down They left a card yesterday, it has no name or anything on it just the phone and parcel number. We're not expecting anything and sometimes our address gets mixed up with one of our neighbours. DH is going to be so so mad if it's not for us. PurpleTree
Eh up all? Still really icy and cold here, had a struggle to open the egg port this morning, was sliding on the ice at the same time as trying to turn the handle. The girls still seem happy enough though. Danny's very hyper today, first day of the hols, and he knows it's only a couple of days til Christmas. They were both up at 5:30 this morning, I didn't roll out of bed til about 9am though
