Lewis
How annoying that it isn't for you I love getting parcels (I got one yesterday and 1 today ) The lights I ordered, 2 are dodgy so have to go back, the other works but still not perfect, and the digital camera which is really hard to use, still, only £6 Must wrap mine ... want to do it tonight or tomorrow night
PurpleTree
Luckily my postie man leaves my parcels behind the plant pot by the door too, and he's been known to sign for things and shove them through the letter box. Yesterday one of my neighbours took in a couple of parcels for us, along with parcels for half the street by the sounds of it.
Space Chick
I am staying in the Venetian in Vegas and then after my luxury I am staying in the Holiday Inn Express in San Francisco. I couldn't afford 2 luxury hotels I have bought a new coat from M&S along with a pair of jeans and 2 tops Good job I know that my in laws are giving my money for Christmas Well must go and continue packing, or sort the girls out, can't decide what order to do them in
ClaireG
The postie and most delivery peeps have been really good and normally leave stuff round the back or in the shed. It was just blooming DHL who don't have the sense! I also think it's pretty bad they gave a parcel to DH that wasn't for him He might not have been such a nice person and my neighbours may not have got whatever it is. PurpleTree
That is poor service from DHL. Just decorated some gingerbread snowmen with Danny, my Aunty kindly brought a kit thingy with her this morning, and said "maybe mummy will decorate them with you this afternoon". Yeah thanks for that Anyways, here you go, help yourselves

PurpleTree
Have you got horrible rainy/sleety stuff too Debs? I just froze and got soaked whilst sorting the girls out, I'm sure there was ice in my bottle of ACV too. I did decide to trek up the garden and renew the coconut fat ball things for the wild birds and top up the seed, hope they eat it this time, the last lot went mouldy. I spotted a teeny brown bird almost flying into the run this morning, almost decided to go through the bars, luckily the girls weren't in it at the time. Lewis
Mmmm I'll have the one with the blue hat please? Our posties are rubbish Never leave things with the neighbours or in the porchso we always have to go and collect things Venetian is great Debs! Have you been before? The massive marble floor looks good in real life, but get some photos because it looks even better with the camera perspective. The parentals went for a meal there for their wedding anniversary and me + my brother stayed in our room with room service and couldn't leave When they got back to the hotel (we stayed at Circus Circus), they saw us at the vending machine in the foyer We went to San Fran aswel and stayed in the Argonaut(?), really liked it ... the thing I remember most about SF the massive murial painted outside on the wall with a man selling live lobsters crabs underneath it, and Pier
ClaireG
Yum yum thanks PT We drove across the dessert from San Diego to Vegas, it was amazing, i've never seen so much nothingness We stayed at The Excalibur I booked a dinner show thing before hand and DH got dragged up onto the stage and had to sit on the cake girls lap, much to his delight
Space Chick
PT - I did have that slushy sleety rain Lewis - I have stayed at the Venetian before, its fab. This will be our fourth visit to Vegas and San Fran Claire - we have booked a few shows and are booked into a 3 Michelin starred restaurant on Boxing Day
Valkyrie
Ooooh lovely thankies PT! Chomp chomp - head has to go first so it doesn't suffer. Even Murray said Wow - they're good. I didn't let him have any though. OINK! We have veg, turkey and mum and we're not going out again until the road is clear. We have been treated to a circus with assorted cars slewing and sliding and our Stonehenge has been driven over by next door's boyfriend (not the mini). He did apologise profusely - but he slid on the ice. He was going to drive in, changed his mind and tried to reverse with the resulting side slide AKA Torville and Dean. Then his future MIL rolled in (ouch there goes their Jag). Luckily the other car had been moved by then. Stonehenge will be replaced when the snow clears. Mum had just finished making a cake so it was still hot when we came home. So we ate it with a cuppa. Just realised that was going to be our Christmas cake - ooopsie. Oh well plenty of eggs to make another one. What are you doing on here Debs? Get your things packed you naughty girl.

They are lovely, I'd never taken much notice before, but the quality and the feel of the leather was, er, lovely! Lucky you!

Valkyrie
Merry Christmas Purpleywurpley! Murray's made cooked spare ribs and made a delicious sauce! Having roast veg with it. The snow is melting at the moment and it's all drippy outside. The inside drip is still preparing our dinner. OK smack my wrist then. Ironing is now separated and sorted so the pile is shorter. Job for mumsie later. She's been following me around with a black plastic bag - "any rubbish?" No, I'm hoovering the rubbish is being sucked up! What's that? Tea? Yes please. And she's off attacking the kettle. Bliss. Fireplace now lit up, Santa lights over the sink and fluffy white feathers over the tiger painting in the dining room (which still looks like a bombs hit it). I still have a bit of hoovering in the lounge - mum kindly pointed out that I had missed a bit. Yeeeeesss, but I know that - I'm clearing this section so I can get the ironing board out. Sheeeesh kebabs! Ooh the call of dindins. See you. Glad you got home Lewis, well done.
