My crochet

Recommended Posts

Thanks Snowy. That purple square was called Anemone, from my book 200 crochet blocks. I love the petal like corners on it & I'm going to try some more done in 3 different colours. I'm working on a lacy wheel block at the moment. Crochet is so addictive & I must get round to doing some more amigurumi again. I also want to make a crochet long waistcoat - hippy style. :D

Just a quick question, are you allowed to take wool & crochet hook on a plane?

It will probably depend on the airline, I was recently allowed to take a plastic crochet and wool bu not a metal one. I asked the check in person. i would have been lost without it, managed to crochet a whole scarf when travelling back from London :D

Lovely squares btw

Glad to see you like my bobbles!

I'm doing one with popcorns now - they are great - just 4 trebles, then take out the hook, push it in the gap between the 3rd & 4th treble & pick up the loop that you took your hook out from - pull the loop through the space between the 3rd & 4th treble & there you have a popcorn! It's very therapeutic seeing these popcorns appear! I'm doing the dahlia block from my book now.

I've done the lacy wheel - that was quite easy to do. I'll have to take more pics tomorrow.

Lots more blocks to go. Off to crochet in bed! :D
