Does anybody ever feel.......Part # 13.

Recommended Posts

I saw the (blue eglu) debs - bargain! You couldn't refuse it

Got up at 10 + they were all just awake, played GTA and now they've gone out so I have to tidy up

Mother's at a Paul Mckenna exhibitiony thing at the ICC with my nan + don't know who else, so will be back late.

I went out to top up the grubs earlier + the waters were frozen!

Purkinje is being naughty :? Put my hand in to get the grub out + she pounced on me, then pecked me when I picked her up :eh:

No idea why, her comb's reddening up so hopefully she will be laying soon  - rather odd.

Left the patio doors open and Theodore just poked her head from behind the sofa!

Oh ... and Abbey sent me a letter, I went -£2.39 overdrawn and they're charging me £50! I realised the day after and put money into the account, might have to go and speak to them about it, and get the overdraft taken off until Uni when I'll have a student account

*rants over* :anxious:

I have been industrious this morning :D Cleared a load of junk out of the garage and sent Mr Griffin off to the tip with it. I have to do the clearing and moving of stuff incase there are man-eating spiders lurking waiting to pounce  Mr G is terrified of them  Anyway, I now have loads more room in there, room I intend to fill with chicks and my growers  I'm going to put some dog crates in there, one is four foot long and will double up as winter quarters for the silly haired Polands. I found two butterflies wintering in some shelving I was throwing out, I've rescued them and put them somewhere else in the garage. I hope they'll be ok.

Afternoon! I'm very intrigued by this (blue eglu) Debs. Hubby was thinking about going to the City match today, but our car's in the garage for a service so he thought better of it.

Danny seems much better today, :D Unfortunately we had an incident just as I was about to cook tea last night, and literally minutes before hubby came home. I was covered, as was the sofa and the floor and Dan himself. Thank goodness I've got a washable sofa cover.

Washed the eglu this morning, it's lovely and sunny here, although the ground was frozen. I really need to put down fresh wood chips, but I really want to get the paving slabs under the run sorted first. Aargghh too much to do!

I do sometimes wonder who else reads our crazy posts, even with just the 10ish of us that post

I'm sure we're very welcoming once you know us

I often wonder who else reads too

I think we are a welcoming lot  Insane....... but welcoming

C'mon you lurkers, confession time, who reads but doesn't post? Now is the time for you to post and own up :P

Well you know when you see the names of who is online at the bottom of the page and it says space chick, lwescott, koojie etc and then guest 1 - that's usually me  I've got very good at lurking!

I haven't been able to find anything to say really for the past few weeks and I know you'll understand that, but I have been reading what you all post and they really does make me smile :D There was no other post that I would rather say hello on :D As for other lurkers, I'm sure EVERYONE reads this thread even if they feel they aren't crazy enough to post on it  I know I'm more than nutty enough and once I actually start doing things and getting out of the house again I'll hopefully have something to post :D

Thanks for the welcome back Debsie :D and Lewis - I'm ok ish sweetheart thank you for asking. Some days I'm ok and some I'm not. I can't believe it's 6 weeks tomorrow since Ash had his accident. In some respects, it feels like a lifetime ago and in others like it was only 5 mins   His friends are still being a huge support to me. They've been absolutely wonderful. Ash certainly chose them well  They were amazing friends to him and they've been amazing friends to me. They've certainly kept me going through everything as have everyone's messages on here and FB.

xx

Come and post, even if you have nothing to say - I normally just waffle

Glad you're starting to feel a bit better :)

I don't think anyone knows about the eggs?

I think some might be related to something we had in Birmingham until a recent take-over?

Nah Lewis, I'm boycotting Cadburys, Kraft food has enough money

Although now you come to mention it..... chocolate......it has a certain appeal

I am getting some CLB eggs and some Leghorn x eggs from a very lovely Omleteer and Crazy Threader

Jue - You are right in what you say about support of friends. In times of crisis, I think you really find out who your true friends are. It doesn't surprise me in what I have read about Ash that he chose such great friends. He sounded a remarkable young man :)

Dont know what to say Joojoo, just glad your beginning to feel a little better and able to post, even if it is on the 'crazy thread' :D Sounds like you have some lovely people around you too, that always helps *hugs* :)

Thanks Sandie. It doesn't matter what you say :D just say anything. I've said that to everyone. I would rather they said anything at all rather than nothing. I know that people find it really difficult to find the right words in circumstances like this, it's just means everything to know that people are thinking of us.

Yeah he was remarkable Debs :) One of his friends said he wasn't one in a million, he was one in a lifetime and that's absolutely true. He was just incredible. I've never met, and never will again meet anyone like him :(

You're absolutely right about finding out who your true friends are. I count myself very, very lucky cos I've got some amazing friends who have been there for me when I really needed them and not least the boys. For 15/16 year olds, they have completely blown me away :)

Weell....I think my madness is caused by sleep deprivation. Sleepover doesn't really include sleeping. We went on a 6-7 mile hike up a mountain today as well

Come and post, even if you have nothing to say - I normally just waffle

I'd noticed

I don't think I make constructive posts on this forum anymore.

The vets its over the road from Cadburys, hope it stays in Brum and doesn't go abroad :) Its not just the factory, the whole area is Quaker and villagey - no alcohol can be sold in a certain radius.

Lewis is trying to work out who the eggs are from

Tom or Cheryl would be my guesses, oh or Tasha - just don't know who has what now!
