Valkyrie
Dang I hate competing for this machine! I miss you lot. NOOOOOOO forgot the piccies!!!!! Last time we had the camera and all we took was a couple of pics of chickens as well. What an eejit! And I did hint a couple of times - trouble is it was sooo subtle. Not bad eh? No budding Monsieur Poirot's on here then? More like Inspecteur Clouseau? Lovely to see our Debs again. We all ought to . . . go and see JJ and camp out in her garden. Just kidding. Hmmmmm. Then Chichi would say - those birds you were getting are bigger than I thought and none have feathers (of course Lewis and Fred wouldn't be classified as birds - they are rowdy lady tamers of course). Oh dear I'm off again on planet Lalalaland. Ooooh yes wave to everyone, me. Still - am off too - g'night peeps. xxx

PurpleTree
Happy 1st February everyone! It's very, very frosty and icy here. Walked extremely slowly along the school path so I wouldn't fall over. Met my friend for breakfast, and managed to persuade my parents to have Oliver, told them I'd only be an hour - two hours later, oops Yummy bacon sandwich with doorstop slices of white crusty bread Made myself sarnies for lunch as Olly was wanting his, but I don't really feel like them. Danny's gone to school today He was feeling much better by Saturday, although a bit cautious about eating anything. Lovely to see all the new crazy threaders/lurkers

He thinks he'll find a use for a broken Dyson one day.... Em xxx
Lewis
I've just used the old one Was starting to clean out the Doves + mother said I had to use the old one for all the animals now - apparently we have to keep it in the garage instead of the cloak room - it was fine in there this morning but now it too old! We're off to the neighbours to see the kiddies

Valkyrie
Hope all goes well for Nat tomorrow Lewis, keep us informed Glad you have done your homework JJ It pleases Ebs that you have been working hard, it also means I can relax in your garden rather than have to keep an eye on your homework progress I hope JJ's got a paddling pool for us to, well, paddle in. And yes I agree - hope all is well for Nat tomorrow. Fingers and such all being crossed. Then it will be Wednesday and we will all have cramped fingers because of a certain other thing happening. Well done for a good fund raising event, JJ. I kept our old Dyson (had even more shocks from that one ) but none of the attachments fitted the new one - and it only sucked through the pipe and not the bottom bit - fine for clearing up drilling dust and stuff, but it's gone to the dump now. Then Ciaran broke the new one and I took a hammer to it and mended it. Hah! Works fine - well it was only the wheel. Oooh dinner's ready - byeeeeee. PurpleTree
Good luck to Nat for tomorrow, hope all goes well. I had a rubbish afternoon, the pushchair broke on the way to the school, and Olly had just fallen asleep so I had to wake him up and make him walk the rest of the way. Then I phoned my dad - SOS - and he came with car and took us home. Hoping he'll have a bolt the right size and will be able to fix the pushchair, otherwise Olly's just going to have to walk everywhere from now on, and we're going to have to leave 10mins earlier. Then Dan showed me that he'd ripped his gloves, lovely waterproof thinsulate ones bought for playing in the snow in Latvia. He said he'd been pushed and fallen over. Seems to have been a lot of pushing and fighting going on lately between him and his 3 friends. Luckily one of their mum's is a friend so I've just been messaging her to try and find out what's been going on. Sorted now hopefully, think it's just a bit of rough play getting out of hand
