Does anybody ever feel.......Part # 13.

Recommended Posts

Well we have finished our Seabass and veggies

Dishes done, and now I can bed down for the night :D

If you want more "floor" space and a table for the WIR Lewis, how about doing a a mezzanine level like I did, Rabbit run, with clear perspex sheets on the top, gives more "floor" space and would also give you a sturdy table for your Go.

Photos below incase you have forgotten what its like

Right click > Save Picture As...

 I've started an Other WIR's folder with all the ideas, because otherwise they get lots to the forum when I need them again

I wanted the Go on the floor because its for the ducks and the (green eglu) on top for the chucks, might see if I can get a rabbit run that the Go would slide under ... its 65cm ... and eglu on top, do you think it'd hold the weight? Good idea though :D

Am also eyeing up the blue platic tables you have 8) We have some old colourful plastic shelving that I can try and use :)

And will send photo of the stand alone perch to my aunt!

I have had cat carriers underneath when I did the Nyssa and Susan intro, as that was their intro area, so I can't see why the Go wouldn't fit.

As for the weight, the perspex would spread the weight, so I think it would. I used perspex so it would be light underneath, but wood would probably be sturdier :?

I keep dustbaths on the top (as you can see on the webcam) and they are full of sand

Will see what I can find on t'internet then :D

The pet shop by us that used to make really sturdy runs and hutches (the man used to stand on the rooves befoure you bought to prove it ) was forced to shut when some developers bought all the shops ... then the developers went bust so there is just a row of empty shops :(

Fred ...a... very random post!?

... but if theres any going spare?

Save me a slice Fred

Talking to your sister?

*waits in queue*

I delivered pancakes, you can be the pie boy

Nice pictures Debs :D

Good Luck with sorting the WIR out Lewis :D

No advice here, I think a WIR would take up most of our garden

Our garden - which is covered in snow...

. Do keep an eye out for shoplifting - you'd be amazed it does happen (well here anyway).

Yes. The ladies in the shop told me to be on the look out, and had me being detective Emily for a while yesterday!

Em

xxx

Sounds fun

I'm imagining you peering around corners wearing dark sunglasses to the James Bond tune

Or the Pink Panther

Whatever takes your fancy.

Lewis, someone recently posted a link to the IKEA website, a perfect Eglu table and only about £15. bargain

oooh REALLY!!! **scuttles off to ikea to investigate and rubs hands together as her masterplan takes an up turn**

:)

Ahhh ... scuttles off with Em

Could be Debs? But its only 60cm wide, both the Go and eglu are 80cm

Found it:

Cheap table for your Eglu

Sandie has/was planning one :)

If you need a new table to lift an Eglu off the ground in your walk in run IKEA are doing one for £15 in their sale. It's the perfect size! I'm really pleased with it.

It's called Ingo.

That link is broken and I don't think the Go will fit under it, but they do a bigger dining table size, for £29 :D
