Snowy
Now I know spaniels like to sleep, but this is ridiculous!!! The girls like to snuggle down on the settees in the evening, once the children are in bed, and we have a cosy evening by the fire. But they know that when I get up to go to bed, they have to go to their beds in the kitchen. I know, I know, it's soooooo cruel of me! So the other evening Ruby decided to chance it. Do you think she knows that I know that she is faking? After a while she did acknowledge my existence It took a while but she DID spend the night in the kitchen! chelsea
What a daft dog! Took me ages to work out where her head was aswell! I would have given that chin a good nibble. She would do really well in a sponsored "sit".....
The Dogmother
Had me in hysterics Snowy - my Ruby was getting all excited at your voice 'calling her' Ruby Chewsday does that too, on her bed in the living room - she'll lie and play dead until I shout 'SQUIRRELS' at her, when she jumps up all excited! I usually take her out in the garden for her last piddle before bedtime in her crate in the kitchen.
Chook n Boo Mum
What a minx ..........if our girls try that we find that opening their biscuit cupboard is enough to concentrate her mind.....we do give them a "beddy bickie" so we aren't really teasing them, just reminding them of what they have to come Sha x
