susanbb
Just watched this on ITV1 and all I can say is that it's really dissapointing when so called "live" acts/performers are so obviously miming
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
We gotta mime mime mime mime mime for this love... Can you tell who that was? It's always awful. I watch it every year, like a puppy convinced that the last flavourless bone isn't truly representative of all bones, and every year, I find I am a fool and I have wasted hours I will never get back to watch an unfunny comedian (Peter Kay) make unfunny jokes between sycophantic links from a pointless presenter (Fearne Cotton) interviewing pointless 'celebrities' (when did Geri Halliwell last make a record?) about pointless winners (everyone except Ellie Goulding, Florence Welch and Lady Gaga), not to mention lacklustre performances (Robbie - at least try to put some vim and the right lyrics into it). Not that I'm cynical. I love music. Which may well be my point...
Lewis
I like it GaGa was good - didn't see the point in the sample'y thing though. Nan said she'd cry too if she had hair/a mask like that Florence was really good with Dizzie too
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
See, I thought it was just a load of shouty nonsense ruining an otherwise killer tune!
Lewis
Probably was Good sounding shouting though ... and at least she was live
Griffin
I haven't been able to see any of it Firstly I was at work until 9.30pm but then when I thought I'd get to watch at least some of it, Mr Griffin and eldest daughter Daisy were watching the Winter Olympics I can't stand Lady Gaga or Cheryl Cole so it sounds as if I haven't missed much
chelsea
It was really cringeworthy.... Firstly, Peter Kay normally makes me laugh but he was totally the wrong sort of presenter - his jokes were falling on deaf ears. I just don't think we "brits" do award shows as good as the Americans (I'm sorry ) but they have it down to a fine art. Every time they came back from a break you could hear Peter Kay saying "oh are we on now?" - it just seemed all very amateur to me. Muse should have won over Kasabian. Gaga as usual was very entertaining and she can sing live! I actually quite like her. Alicia Keys & JayZ were the best live act of the night for me. Cinnamon
Muse should have won over Kasabian. Agreed!!!
The Dogmother
didn't even know it was on.

The Dogmother
Probably just as well then - I was shovelling rubble out of my kitchen instead.. far more productive!
Cooks
yes you didn't miss anything!
chickencam
We love music in this house, but give me a CD over an award show any day. We always buy the Brits CD, but never watch the show. Saw clips on the news after Survivors and it doesn't look like we missed much apart from Gaga looking Gaga as usual, she can sing though. C&T
I was "lucky" enough to go last year. I can guarantee it isn't worth it... At least if you watch at home on the TV you can walk away from it all or from at last the acts you don't like!! Didn't bother watch last night at all... Why would you when the Olympics is so good!?! Cooks
one act threw their award into the crowd and was called something I cant repeat on here by Peter Kay...
docsquid
Sorry, didn't watch this either. I was watching the Winter Olympics instead - I'm much more of a sports fan than a music fan. But Muse should have won!
