Snowy
We got back from our half term holiday in Wales last night. I fully expected a week of rainy walks followed by hibernating by the fire in our cosy cottage. Instead we woke every morning to crisp snowfall on the ground and glorious blue skies and sunshine! I actually caught the sun on my face (everything else was well covered up ) There were dozens of walks literally on our doorstep and Harlech beach was only a short drive. It was stunningly beautiful and one of those holidays that I really didn't want to come home from Far too many photos to post them here, but here is a link to the photobucket album if you like landscapes! Snowy
The cottage was in Dolwyddelan - halfway between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed. The beach was Harlech, about 20 minutes away. It really was lovely, and we missed so much! Still need to take the boys to the Llechwedd slate caverns and Portmeirion and they still have to climb Y Wyddfa - need better boots and better weather for that though! It's a wonderful place The mountain in the pics is Moel Siabod - that was the view from our window everyday
Lesley
We've been many times to Harlech - a little place called Soar Your photos have the opposite view of the Snowdonia range to the one from my Mum's in Anglesey. Lovely walks up the Rhinogs and Roman Steps. I was just looking at the small hotel we used to stay in on Google Earth last night!
