Patricia W
Last week I was in Canada for my son's wedding. I spent the week making the wedding cake in rather adverse circumstances - in a rented chalet with an oven with a eccentric thermoset. I took my cupcake pans and cake tins with me, borrowed more and a Kitchenaid mixer which really saved the day - and the cake! The photographer has sent some preview pictures which include the cake! The bride and groom aren't bad either. I thought you might like to see them. I think I may have a new career...... http://masutphotography.blogspot.com/2010/03/amy-and-tims-wedding-at-cranberry.html Tricia PS Hope the link works - technology and me are not good friends.. Patricia W
Thanks for all your good wishes. The wedding was indeed fabulous and the bride and groom did all the planning themselves. About 30 English guests went and we all stayed in three ski chalets next door to each other. They'd arranged skiing ( 10 mins walk away)skating, dog sledding etc. The actual wedding was at the end of the week so there was I stuck in the chalet, baking away and hoping no-one broke a leg. My prayers were answered but the bride's wishes for a wedding in the snow were also answered- the wedding day saw the worst winter blizzard for several years ! Back to reality this week though......
