art12345
i have six chickens none of whom have graced me with an egg this year. 2 a japanese and a pekin are two years old and have both just finished moulting(they have laid very well previously) 2 very nearly a year old, a sultan and a sablepoot(she swatted about a month ago) 2 about 27 weeks old another sultan and a silly silkie(bless her) They have layers pellets and a few treats before bed, they are well loved and cuddled regularly reassurance needed that they will lay eventually. art12345
i have been using verm x but its a bit of a nightmare to get them to eat it as they seem to be able to leave it behind if mixed with pellets. I tried sandwiching it between bits of cheese with some success but almost impossible over several days. Any tips or should i swap to Flubenvet? where would i buy this? Cooks
yes Flubenvet is much better, Verm-x is not that successful unfortunately. If you search on google theres lots of places that sell it.. I will see if I can find a place for you HERE!!

tom123
Remember they are all pure breeds and it is only just getting warmer, only a few of my bantams are laying.
Space Chick
I'd recommend Flubenvet over Verm X personally

art12345
good news Tululah who we thought at one point was a boy must have laid her first egg today as it was white. Ironically she is 30 weeks old but has beaten our other sultan who is year old. Two laying now, four more to go.
