:D:D So excited :D

 

Being delivered on the 31st March.

 

Phoned Omlet about reconditioned ones but none in stock. I dithered over ordering a reconditioned green cube a few weeks ago and now they have all gone. Being impatient I ordered a new (cube purple) .

 

Now I have to break the news to Andy that the WIR extension is needed sooner that he thought.

Hope the weather does not stop it coming on wednesday - snow again forecast! did you see my pm re chickens as John has bought chicks he could sell some of the new laying pol ones he has raised.

 

 

I have sent you a PM, I had replied to your PM but I have just found it sitting in my outbox.

 

My fingers are crossed for the snow staying away. I have a feeling the Cube will be delivered today. My two Eglus were both delivered a day early. I am away to Auchnagatt this morning to collect 2 chickens so the Cube will no doubt arrive when I am out.

Four enormous boxes are now sitting in the porch. Can't get out of the door now for the boxes.

 

Four boxes seems a lot for just a cube ( I didn't order a run), is that the right amount?

 

The Parcel force man said he delivered a cube last week to an address in town, he told me the name of the road. Is it wrong of me to want to drive down the street to find it :think:

Yes four boxes is right, I got my orange cube on Monday! Just wait till you unpack it there will be bits everywhere. OH and I built ours on Monday night in the rain, it looks fab. Make sure you follow the instructions fully re screwing bolts loosely first and pushing panels as far as they will go then tighten screws, I used my cordless drill to do this. Also when you are putting the roof on, don't worry if it won't fit or there is a gap, you just need to adjust the runners a bit until it fits.

Andy built the cube this morning and it is now in the WIR. The WIR needs some modifications and then the cube will be placed on the outside.

 

The cube is very big :shock: and very purple :D . Snowdrop and Daffodil have been up the ladder and had a nosey inside.

 

I didn't realise there would be quite so much of a gap from the floor to the first rung of the ladder. I am a bit concerned about Bubbles. Her feet are not so good, if she were human she would have a zimmer frame and a Stanna stairlift. No way will she be able to manage the ladder so I will probably have to lift her into the Cube at night, hopefully she will be able to launch herself out in the mornings.
